| Mr Abdul Hamid retired from his Audit Director’s role in the Auditor-General’s Office (AGO) Singapore in 2017 after 38 years of auditing in the public sector. His audit experiences include financial statements audit, IT audit, information security audit and operational audit. Currently he is freelancing as an Executive Advisor (Risk Management, Audit and Regulatory Technology) in Straits Interactive Pte Ltd, and a lecturer, trainer and consultant in a number of organisations specialising in topics relating to Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC). Mr Abdul Hamid is also an active volunteer in the charity sector. He is a founding member of the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) and had served AMP in various capacities over the last 30 years including as Chairman, Audit Committee and Chairman, Board of Directors (2016-2018). He led AMP to win the Charity Transparency Award for three consecutive years. He is also a founding member of Casa Raudha Women Home (established in 2008) and was its first Treasurer. He had also served as a volunteer leader in other charities including TAA Trust Fund and Lembaga Biasiswa Kenangan Maulud (LBKM). Currently, he is serving as Deputy Chairperson, Casa Raudha Limited and Chairman, Audit Committee of MCAS (Muslim Converts Association of Singapore), a director of Era Dance Theatre and Culitivate.SG Limited. He is also a grassroot leader in Bedok CC, a member of the National Council of Problem Gambling (NCPG) and Chairman of Madrasah Wak Tanjong.
