Steven is an award winning journalist with over two decades of experience. He currently anchors current affairs programme Talking Point and podcast – Deep Dive. Prior to that Steven helmed both the morning and evening prime time news bulletins on CNA. He is also a seasoned moderator for conferences and forums. Outside of work, Steven is an avid volunteer. He sits on the board of the YMCA of Singapore and is also an advisory board member for the Communications and New Media Department at the National University of Singapore.
But the role he feels most proud of is that of being a father to two teenagers. When it comes to time with kids, he believes in the notion of "the more the merrier". Steven also dreams of the day when kids in Singapore will spend more time at play than at tuition.
